5 Pints In is a Podcast hosted by ex-Premier League, Division 1, and MLS footballer Ian Bishop. The weekly installment finds Bishop and his sons discussing everything in the world of English football and beyond.

What They Wanted

5 Pints In wanted to take their "pub/football" culture they embrace in their podcast episodes and extend it throughout their website and marketing. Their slogan "The Show Where We're Literally 5 Pints In..." was an important part of this project.

What We Did

They needed a full package for this project, so we started with the logo - keeping that "pub/football" culture in mind, while incorporating the teams Bishop played for. We then created their full website (copy, design, development), and set up all their social media channels. We topped it all of with a marketing plan, which we then executed.

Our Thought Process

The show's slogan and Bishop's idea of "you are the happiest and most honest you can be after drinking 5 pints" really drove the messaging and branding. The logo displays 5 pint glasses, each branded with the 5 teams Ian spent his most time at while playing.

The website copy, design, and marketing plan are highly driven by quotes and themes from the episodes themselves. We thought it was important to display not only the latest episode each week, but the most popular ones—which include interviews and rambunctious conversations with Ian's ex-teammates.

Our main goal? To extend the podcast's playful nature through their website, social channels, and marketing.
